Cheetah came to India on Modi’s birthday after 7 decades

India was once a sanctuary for the Asiatic cheetah, but the animal has been lost due to poaching and habitat loss. Cheetah was officially declared extinct in India in 1952. As such, the cheetah was brought back to Indian soil after 75 years on Saturday on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
